A few useful answers.
Choose a question to see the details.
How do I create my first habit?
Open Quick Start, choose a category and a small action, then configure the reminder that fits your routine. You can also create a custom habit. Start with something easy to repeat, such as a glass of water or a few minutes of reading.
Why didn’t a reminder appear?
Check that your habit is enabled and its trigger is configured. In iPhone Settings, allow notifications for AutoHabits and check whether a Focus mode is silencing them.
Some triggers also need Location, Health, Motion, or Screen Time permission. Watch-based triggers need a paired Apple Watch. Reminder behavior depends on the selected trigger, permissions, and device availability.
How do I use AutoHabits on Apple Watch?
Install the companion app on your paired Apple Watch, open AutoHabits on your iPhone, and set up a supported habit. Follow the prompts for the permissions that feature needs. AutoHabits requires iOS 26.1 or later; the watch companion requires watchOS 26.1 or later.
Do I need an account?
Core habit features work without an account. The optional Pebbl AI assistant uses Sign in with Apple and needs an internet connection. You do not need to create a separate password.
What should I know about Pebbl and AI?
Pebbl helps you think through habit ideas. Review its suggestions and choose what suits you. AI responses can be inaccurate, and AutoHabits is for general habit support and wellness, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
Messages and generation prompts sent to AI services are processed by those providers. Avoid including information you do not want to share. See our privacy policy for details.
Where can I manage permissions and privacy?
You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. Health permissions are also managed through Apple’s Health app. Turning off a permission may stop the associated trigger or activity.
